Booking directly with Mariposa Holidays is simple and personal. From your first request to the moment you arrive, we’ll keep you informed about availability, payments and everything you need for a relaxed stay.

Five steps to your stay at Mariposa Holidays

When you book directly, you’re dealing with Katti and Rob rather than an anonymous booking platform. Here’s exactly what you can expect.

1. Send your booking request

Choose your Casa, preferred dates and submit your contact and guest details.

2. Receive your confirmation

We check availability and send your booking details, price and payment options.

3. Pay the 30% advance payment

Pay the 30% advance within 24 hours to secure your reservation.

4. Receive your arrival information

Before arrival, we send directions, registration details and key collection instructions.

5. Arrive and enjoy your stay

Check in from 4:00 PM and enjoy your prepared Casa and peaceful surroundings.

Know exactly what you pay and when

We want the payment process to be clear before you book. You’ll receive the exact price and payment instructions with your booking confirmation.

Advance payment

A 30% advance payment secures your booking. Your reservation is not final until this payment has been received and confirmed.

Remaining balance

The remaining balance is payable two weeks before your stay or, when agreed with Mariposa Holidays, in cash upon arrival.

Security deposit

A refundable security deposit of €150 may be requested from guests residing in Spain. Subject to an inspection of the accommodation, the security deposit is returned on the day of departure.

Additional costs

Final cleaning is included in the accommodation price. There is currently no tourist tax and there are no additional mandatory booking fees.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is available from 4:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Before arrival, we’ll share the key handover and parking instructions for your Casa. Your accommodation will be clean and prepared, with beds made and towels provided. Early arrival or late departure may be possible upon request.

Direct contact throughout your stay

Katti and Rob live at Finca Mariposa and are available if you need assistance or local recommendations. WhatsApp is usually the quickest way to reach them. You’ll have the reassurance of nearby hosts without giving up the privacy and peaceful atmosphere of your own Casa.
