Finca Mariposa is really a beautiful and nice place to stay. The view from the terraces on the sea and the mountains is... unforgettable. The cottages and outdoor area are nice and super decorated. Owners Katti and Rob are very friendly and know a lot about the area. Also very nice to be able to visit the horses. Recommended!read more

It is a magnificent place, perfect to disconnect. We have been in Villa Mariposa, an excellent cabin with a huge patio... with a pool and beautiful views of the mountains and the sea. And the hosts, Kattia and Rob, are very attentive and friendly, aware of any need we had.We have been six days, but it has known us little.read more

If you are looking for a idilic location in southern Spain to relax then this is the place! It is located in the county... so you feel like you are out of the way of the towns and villages and very peaceful but is only a short drive away from said towns and villages that you can be in amongst it all as and when you need and get anything from the shops as well. The location is stunning with sea and mountain views, the houses are very well furnished with all you may need to make your stay very comfortable. A short walk away are the horses for if you want to go for a trek or for children to have something to do and there are other water sport activity’s to do if you want to do something at the beach. The land lords are very nice and helpful and very easy to talk to. Highly recommend staying at this location if you want a relaxing holiday!read more

In need of a relaxing holiday we found this perfect spot.We, a small family went to Mariposa and found all in one... place: lovely land lords, horse ride courses for my daughter approx. 500 mtr. from the houses at the finca. Sometimes it was bit chilly in April so we used the environment friendly pallet stove / heater. The view towards both mountains (Sierra Nevada) as to the sea side were astonishing. We never slept so good as at Mariposa with its fresh clean air. We will be repeaters!read more
